Architecture decisions live as ADRs in the repo. Future maintainers (yours or ours) inherit the why, not just the what.
Honest scoping
We turn down work we don't think we can ship. Discovery sprints exist to make that judgment in writing, with both sides protected.

Observability, runbooks, and on-call rotations are deliverables, not afterthoughts billed later.
